The No. 36 Big Lots! team is
looking to rebound at Gateway after running in the top-10 at Chicagoland
before a blown right front tire would end Sherman's day on lap 145,
relegating him to a 40th place finish.
"We
had a good car at Chicago and were running well, but unfortunately we blew a
tire and went straight into the wall." Sherman said. "That hurt us because
we were in line for a good finish and it also mangled a good racecar."
Sherman continued, "Going into Gateway, we have learned a lot from the mile
tracks we have run so far and we are going to keep working hard to get the
good finishes this team deserves. I have raced in the Busch Series once
there and have also led some laps in the ARCA Series at the track, so I am
hoping that we can continue moving forward this weekend."
