Brent Sherman, who spent a majority of his practice time Friday running in traffic to prepare for tomorrow’s race, posted a combined two-lap time of 57.8615 seconds and an average speed of 184.786.

"Obviously I'm disappointed because we were expecting more speed out of our car. I still feel like we're a couple tenths off where we need to be for tomorrow. Our times were OK in practice, but I spent a lot of time running in the draft. I'm a competitive guy, and I'm sure we're all going to pick it up in the race tomorrow."
