Before racking up miles on race tracks across america, Brent Sherman logged more than 2,000 hours in the air!

From 1995 to 1998, Sherman conducted combat, surveillance and instruction missions on an AWAC’s airplane while in the United States Air Force.
During his six years in the service, Sherman's father suprised him with a trip to a racing school. It was that gift that would shape his future career.


2006

Competed in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series. Finished 21st in the Daytona 500.

Captured first ARCA RE/MAX Series win at Michigan International Speedway.


2005

Having gained the attention of several NASCAR Busch Series team owners, Sherman started 24 races in the series with two different top owners.

A ninth-place finish at Talladega and a 13th place finish at the demanding Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte proved his driving prowess.

An announcement was made in Novmeber: Sherman signed with BAM Racing to move to the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series.


2004

In Brent’s second full season in the ARCA RE/MAX series, he posted nine top-five and 14 top-10 finishes. Sherman finished second in points and took home two prestigious honors, the Bill France Triple Crown Award and the HG Adcox Sportsman of the Year Award.


2003

Sherman completed his first year in the ARCA RE/MAX season fourth in points and recorded six top-five and 11 top-10 finishes. He also earned two second place finishes at the Kansas Speedway and the Berlin Raceway and received the Reed Cams Most Improved Driver-of-the-Year Award.
