Spartanburg, S.C. (August 8, 2007) –
Brent Sherman and the McGill
Motorsports team earned a solid 22nd place finish in Montreal
after starting 25th in the Napa Auto Parts 200 and are now looking
to keep moving forward in Watkins Glen where Max Papis finished 14th
for the McGill Motorsports team in 2006.
"We
had a good car and a solid finish in Montreal. We are back in the top-20 in
the driver’s points championship and we brought the car home in one piece."
Sherman said. "I know Ricky Pearson (Crew chief) and the team have some good
notes on the set-ups for the car from last year's race at Watkins Glen and I
am hoping to bring home another top-15 finish for McGill Motorsports and Big
Lots!"
The # 36 Big
Lots! Chevrolet hits Watkins Glen International on Friday, August 10th at
1:30 PM (ET) for the weekends first practice session, while final practice is
scheduled for 5:30 PM (ET). Qualifying begins Saturday, August 11th at 11:35
AM (ET).
Television coverage for the
Zippo 200 begins at 3:00 PM (ET) Saturday, August 11th on ESPN2, with the
green flag scheduled to drop at 3:30 PM (ET). Live radio coverage can be
